Let's run through a typical installation right now. Shift into the smallest cog. Correct derailleur hanger alignment as needed. Remove the rear wheel. Remove the upper pulley, and install the new upper pulley with text facing outboard. Snug the bolt. We'll torque it later - Remove the lower pulley and install the new lower pulley with text facing outboard Torque all fasteners to spec found in the installation instructions Reinstall the rear wheel Check shifting and adjust as needed So there you have it.
