There are some pitfalls when you're setting up one of our DUB bottom brackets and I want to go over this with you guys really quick. This is specific to our bottom brackets. You see all of our DUB Press Fit and T47 bottom brackets have this inside. This - this deal right here that's inside of here; that is between the bearings on the inside and that keeps it from being over compressed. This is our DUB insert and this slides into the bearing just like that and you notice it sticks out on that back side just a little bit and the reason for that is that it's supposed to center the bushing just like that -all right. But there's a little problem that happens and it causes this issue right here and this is how this piece gets broken and the setup ends up feeling terrible so you see how this you see how this can drop down like that a little bit. Now we put this shield on here and when you put - when you push this in this right here this actually can get caught up against that- all right. So, when we push this in like that you notice that you can see an air gap right there - all right, so what I need to do is I need to go in here with my finger. Like, I go from the back side and I and I move the bushing into a position I Center it just like that with my finger until I can push that in all the way now you see how there's no more air gap right there behind this is because it's completely in there and now it's now the bushing is centered inside of there. It's actually called a Tru-Drive sleeve. If that piece is up against the bushing instead of seated in the bearing so it's sticking out very slightly when you uh when you put the entire the crank in and put everything together and tighten it down it- it just pushes this piece into the screwdriver sleeve just like that and not only does it break this but it pushes this up against the bearing on the far side and then the bottom bracket starts spinning poorly because it's actually binding the bearings so all you have to remember is the inserts need to be centered in there and need to be pressed in all the way so there's no gap on the on the back side right there and then everything is going to spin wonderfully foreign works perfectly
